About ElectoralMap.org
ElectoralMap.org is an independent, non-partisan tool for drawing and sharing predictions for the 2028 U.S. presidential election. It is not affiliated with any candidate, campaign, party, PAC or government agency, and it does not accept political advertising or campaign money.
Data
- Electoral votes: the 2020-census apportionment used in 2024 and 2028 (538 total).
- Past winners: the statewide winner of the 2016, 2020 and 2024 presidential elections.
- State shapes: U.S. Census Bureau cartographic boundaries, via the open-source us-atlas project.
Community forecast
Each signed-in user can save one forecast. For every state we count how many forecasters call it Democratic (safe or lean), Republican (safe or lean) or toss-up. A state is shown as Safe when at least 70% agree, Lean when at least 55% agree, and Toss-up otherwise.
Straw poll
One answer per account. Individual answers are never displayed, only totals. Respondents are self-selected visitors, so the poll is not scientific and should not be read as a measure of public opinion.
Fair play
Accounts are tied to a verified Google sign-in, actions are rate-limited, and moderators remove spam and abusive maps.
